September 1974 Kanematsu Chemicals Co.,Ltd. was established as a wholly
  owned subsidiary of Kanematsu Corporation and as a trading
  company specialized in chemicals with 25 million yen in
  capital in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
October 1974 Started operations.
March 1975   Osaka Sales Branch opened.  
September 1978   Toyama Branch Office opened.  
April 1983   Nagoya Sales Branch opened.  
March 1986   Capital increased to 100 million yen.  
April 1989   Sales offices in Osaka and Nagoya raised to the status of  
  branches.  
September 1998   Osaka and Nagoya Branches closed.  
March 2002   Capital increased to 300 million yen.  
  Renamed Kanematsu Chemicals Corporation.  
April 2002   Osaka Branch reopened.  
  The structure of new Kanematsu Chemicals completed.  
March 2005   Headquarters in Tokyo ISO 14001 certified. 
September 2005 Acquired Kowashouji Co.,Ltd.
March 2006 Osaka Branch ISO 14001 certified.
  Toyama Sales Branch closed.
December 2008 Acquired Nagasawashouji Co.,Ltd.
May 2009 Removal of Headquarters office to Ningyo-cho
October 2009 Merger of Kowashouji Co.,Ltd.
November 2010 Removal of Osaka Branch to Kyutarou-machi
